Hello Paul, you need to change the pipe or route as this will restrict fule flow, Regards, Steve

Had same problem on my gixer streetfighter fuel line was kinked causing fuel starvation cut about 30mm off the end of the fuel line just enough to take the kink out as the tank came down.

Paul, I have the same thing on my Z900.
The outside line is a bit of a stretch to the union joint on the carbs, so it has quite a bend at the top where it connects to the fuel tap.

It doesn't seem to be causing any problems with fuel starvation and the bend is not bad enough to totally close the tube.

ZAPaul, one solution I've thought of, but never used, is to cut the kinked area and replace it with a "right-angle" fuel filter which are now available.

Halfords do fuel hoses of various internal diametres. Cut to suit and problem solved. Looks ok as they are black with woven covering. Not standard but it does the job.
