Just changing my leaking fork seals. Whilst apart I spotted a couple of parts are missing. Anyone got any old forks or bits of internals lying around?
The bits i need are the large washers that sit on top of the springs 44028 in the diagram and the conical piece at the bottom of the damper rod. See picture below:
Can anyone help?

MatinZ, If it's a Z1R (Not sure about an ELR) then you often find the top washer missing, Don't worry too much about it, just put a normal washer in.
The conical piece must be there otherwise you could not assemble them., It may be jammed in the bottom and you just can't see it. Pretty hard to get if you have lost it! The Z1 thru to the Z1R are much the same!
Get you components side by side from each leg and take a photo.

Is it the bit of the damper that the bolt goes in to? Is it just that exploded diagram that is confusing me?

Based on part numbers on Kawasaki.com the Z1000R fork internals are unique to that model. These would not be right but thanks for suggesting.

if you really don't have the conical ally bits i've got some Z1R ones you can try to see if they suit - give me a PM.
