It is the same size as my Z650C rear disc, in as far I can measure mine on the bike but it has been messed with.
The mount holes, vent holes (x10) thickness etc are the same as my C1/C2 rear disc, but as said they do not have countersunk holes from the factory, a PO has done that for some reason .
The drill pattern is also rather unusual, the inner drillings overlap an unused part of the disc, why - I cannot fathom ...

Thank you both.
Want to identify it to replace it but need to know for sure so dont buy a pro-lite for £185 and find it does not fit.
The countersunk mounts look factory or at least proper engineering no notchy faces to be seem and no chatter on the bit.
I suspect it was done because that disc was fitted to a wheel with a 10mm ally plate for a caliper hanger which was flat and therefore clearance may have been an issue.
This was it in action shortly before it was replaced with a different back wheel and carrier, disc etc.

Obviously an early disc that's been drilled and counter sunk.

Brilliant z1b man thank you again, it does look uncannily similar to the early one.
Will look a little harder.
Metalgear give some sizes for the discs they list but nothing listed for the 'C' but will look again.
Just looked again and found one listed as 276mm diameter so there maybe something after all.

I was convinced it was from a KZ900 LTD.

The (K)Z650C1 and C2 did not have drilled discs from the factory. They ran plain discs.
Most of us with those models will have had the discs drilled aftermarket though in an effort to make 'em work better (plus look better)
The C3 ( the drilled model pictured) was the first Z650 model with factory drilled discs - it was also the first Z650 with sintered pads as OE, it had square rear pads as opposed to the round pads on the earlier bikes.
It didn't really make 'em stop much better though...those 70's brakes were still crap. Thank f... for modern friction materials eh
