Hello Gents, with regard to 73 Z1 seats and/or replacement covers, can anyone point me in the right direction for one with decent stand up pattern on the cover? Ive had numerous replacements over the years with the correct pattern on the cover but theyre not padded out as per the originals. I had a seat recovered by P&P seating recently, they did a fab job with a hem on the cover just like the original & a perfect fit etc but the pattern was just printed in the surface of the cover & hence very flat.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Chris Rivett.

They have just fallen at the first hurdle for me.. They advertise an exact replica cover for an s2 yet the one they show has stitch style pleats and not just pressed seams as they should be.

I recently got a replacement seat cover for my gpz11 ut ,the patern printed on it was pretty much spot on, but found that the material was thin ! a old chap local to me a "old school trimmer"he said the same , he done the seat while i watched , i am still using the seat 4 months later , it has lasted o.k so far ! but i am looking for a stronger thicker cover, and then get him to do my other seat ,.
But (got a bit carried away then, sorry) IS the cover thick strong ?

I do not want to spend nearly 40 quid for a cover from the states ,to find it is thin and not strong and will tear ,rip , ect ect ?

the uni trac seat covers are made of very thin material anyway. i fitted a genuine kawasaki replacement cover to a friends a2 about three years ago at a cost of £127 + it has started to come apart at the rear where it is stitched :( :( :(
