i want to bypass the side stand cut out switch, there are 4 wires, 2 black, 1 green/white and 1 blue/white. Which ones will have to be joined to enable this,or am i way off track?

What bike is it for..... My Gixxer had one of them, I just removed it and it was OK... It must have just earthed the ignition low tension side?

Z1000R2, or at least it will be when i put all the bits back together. I cut the wires behind the side panel as the switch wouldnt go through the hole in the foot peg holder.Tried to start the bike + nothing, joined the wires together again and it fired up ok.Could just shorten the wires and rejoin them and just leave the switch behind the side panel but its untidy so i would like to bypass it.

Mine doesn't have one. At all. I'll take a look at the wiring diagram tomorrow and try and see what's not there.

i believe the 2 black wires would be joined together. The clutch lock out switch on a kwaks are just 2 black wires to a switch remove switch join 2 blacks...hey presto! so would imagine it would be the same as...but,perusal of a W.D. would confirm, hence.Bugger i know about the other 2 wires need W.D.

Just do a conductivity test on the switch. A battery and a bulb will do if you don't have a multimeter.

would do but you cant always find convenient trees to lean your bike against and car drivers get the cob on when they find your bike resting on their cars

No luck with a side panel yet but it looks like Chris has a badge.
