Bikes not been right since i had it on the road, i think the clutch is slipping, at 60mph shes at 4-4 1/2 in top gear and seems overly revvy so dont think clutch is engaging fully?
Is there a sensible way to approach it? is it a pretty straight forward job? how do i tell if its the plates or down to cable, pushrod mechanism?

If there is a problem with your clutch it will display itself under full load. When going uphill at 5,000rpm whack it open and any problem will quickly show itself.
As far as the worm drive goes you should undo the cable fully, back off the screw and locknut, do up the screw until you feel some resistance then back it off 1/4 to 1/2 turn before doing up the locknut again.
Then adjust your cable to suit.
Make sure the cable is fully lubricated and most importantly routed correctly.

My B1 also sits at about 4 and a bit in top at 60 but if I do as tlc says it don't slip.I agree it does seem a bit revy for top gear at 60 but think it is the way they intended so it is always on the boil,if it it sat at lower revs and you wanted a sudden burst of power you would have to change down a gear before you ring its neck
