does anyone do wheel building?

#1 PostAuthor: malmojoe » Fri Aug 16, 2013 5:57 pm

I have some H1 wheels that I need rebuilt but not sure I have the confidence to try it myself, so I'm looking for any recommendations.
Also was thinking of buying these spokes from Thailand. They are cadmium plated - which I think is not done in EU any more, with brass plated nipples, so I think they should look OK. Has anyone used this company before? They also do Z spokes.

I'd go for stainless, they'd look better for much longer. Got mine from Z1 enterprises for around $100.00 US per wheel + post.

By the way, if you rechrome your rims, make sure they garantee NOT to remove the original stampings. When i had mine done they ground away most of the original stampings after i specifically asked them not to, devalued my rims to worthless.
