Rear axle spacer position

I'm sure i have seen this topic posted before, but for the life of me i couldn't find it. So here goes again.

Could someone tell me how and on which side the rear wheel axle spacers go. I took my wheel off quite a while ago and thought i'd remember!! :roll:

Wide one is brake drum side and narrow one fits in to wheel bearing oil seal on left side.

So the narrow one (6mm) doesn't go under the nut?

What bike is it. Also I think a picture may help, of what you are trying to fit.

As twozeds says.
There are two different size spacers available to go under the nut one is 6mm thick the other is approx 4.5mm, I can't recall why though :??

Bike is a z1b, the spacer in the middle i know goes inside the sprocket bearing seal and the one on the right goes on the brake drum side.

But where does the thin one on the left go?

The one on the left looks like a washer to go under the axle nut. On my z1 the shoulder of the spindle sticks out through the chain adjuster so if i put the axle nut on without a thick washer it would run out of thread before actually clamping everything up, does that make sense?

That makes sense Chris, however i wonder why they would make a washer out of aluminium? I thought it might have gone between the seal spacer and the swingarm on the sprocket side?

Just put my rear wheel back in and as Chris Riv says that ally spacer has to go under the nut as the other two have a home .
I doubt you'd fit it in between the hub spacer and chain adjuster on the left .
6mm does sound thick though , mine is about 1.5mm .
