GPZ750R1 LCD warning unit

The battery warning icon on my GPZ keeps flashing to say that the electrolyte level is low on my battery, it isn't, so do any of you know how to bypass this and keep it off?

disconnect the sensor + connect the pink wire to the + side of the battery

That should work make sure there is not a break in the pink wire somewhere

have you by any chance connected the sensor to the positive side of the battery? you need to connect the pink wire that goes into the wiring harness to the positive. i have never not known this to work
