Hi Guys, I hope someone can help with a couple of questions about my Z900.
I have only had the bike a week and have noticed a few things.
There is a drip or two of oil that seems to be coming from the little cable that comes out from under the generator side enging case and into the clutch housing......is this worth worrying about or not. It only drips once or twice after riding.
Also, is the tool for adjusting the rear shocks easily available? I guess it will be similar to a normal "c" spanner, but designed to fit in the little holes in the collars.
Thanks

Kerrigan,
Yeahas noted above, most Zeds suffer from that from time to time. Mine had a load of silicon on it but not in the right places. Buffed up the edge of the square rubber seal with emery paper, new gasket and a wee bit of new sealant and it hasnt leaked all summer.
Other weak areas are cam chain tunnel gasket, leaves a pool of oil on top of your crankcases, easily spotted post Z1 models and the ubiquious rev counter drive spindle seal.
Bullet proof motor really, dont worry, enjoy your bike.
