What's the best adhesive that secures the half moon rubbers? I've had a few
Slide out when engine gets hot. I've always used OEM ones but they seem a little undersized recently. Silicone doesn't do the job so I assume its a two pack I need..
Didn't the early version of half moon have a small lip on the cam side?
Cheers,

Mike
As stated early half moons had a lip on the cam side.
Loctite 5910 black is a very good instant gasket, they also produce a clear version too.

I've never had any come out.
The trick is to make sure the head recess and cam end plugs are totally oil free and dry (use brake cleaner) then use RTV to set the plugs in the head but leave them slightly proud of the head until the RTV sets.
When the camcover and gasket is fitted the plugs will be well and truly trapped in position.
Works every time, even with dodgy pattern ones.

Or use these:

and they don't budge.
Still do all the meticulous cleaning though to remove oil traces and then silicone engine sealant.
