Hi guys, I know this topic has been done to death, but I'm addicted to ebay and couldn't help myself...
Oil cooler and fittings from the crankcase ( oil pressure sensor take off? and the other one next to it) bought.

What size hose (internal diameter) should I buy? Most seem to come with a AN rating, good old imperial measurements

Also, do I need high pressure fittings, or will a simple push on/ barb fitting be ok? with a securing clip, obviously.

Get the "take-offs" the if they're push fit, get decent oil hose to suit.

Don't need hi-pressure fittings - it's only 3psi

Put up a pic of the take offs for a better answer.

Most use AN6 to AN8 fittings or barbs for 8mm or 12mm bore pipe .

I make my own fittings , buy coolers with 1/2 bsp fittings and use Goodyear 12mm bore fuel/emmission hose.

Look in my projects for pics.

The fittings are tapped 1/4 NPT, I can get an adaptor to screw into that at whatever size is preferable. If AN -8 is the one to go for, I'll buy suitable hose and go with that.

cheers guys
