Anyone got any tips for this? I've tried the usual heating up/penetrating oil methods & i dont have much faith in E-Z Outs!

Ok, well once again the e-z outs were good for removing the head, so i carefully drilled the rest of the screw out, does anyone know what thread pitch the M3 screw has? I have 0.5 & 0.6 M3 Taps

Hi Steve.
Is the head of the screw still intact?
As you have already tried heat and penetrating fluid I take it the tank may not be mint.
This has worked for me.
I would recommend finding the best fitting screwdriver you have for each of those screws (believe me it may take one or two different ones to get some purchase on the individual screw heads.
Start by trying to turn the screw driver against resistance whilst lightly tapping the end of the screw driver with a hammer (gently and then up to whatever amount you are comfortable with) this acts as a very slow but manageable impact drive.
It sounds strange but only try to apply torque to the screwdriver as you are hitting it with the hammer as any other time is wasted.
Cheers

Yeah Gus, thats how an impact driver works. I did try that with an electric screwdriver on a light setting so the ratchet acts like that but these things were WAY to rusted in, the screw heads were so corroded they just rounded with VERY little force
