Trying to insert the wire circlips that hold gudgeon pins in place.

Any tips please?

Fed up with firing them round the garage and skewering myself with screwdriver.

Losing patience and will to live!

I use a pair of snipe nose pliers to get them started, then use a small parallel punch to push them home

I thread one end into the groove, hold my thumb over that part and then push the remainder in with a small screwdriver, pop in easily

Wiseco do a little video showing the "proper" way to do it - just thumbs! That guy must have cast iron thumb tips as i was getting nowhere.

Now got them all fitted using a combination of thumbs, small screwdriver (which Wiseco say not to use) and lots of choice words.

Not a job i enjoyed. Barrels on now!!
