hi i have a z1000j2 the one with the sensor speedo etc which is playing up as it will not go pass 40 mph & the needle jumps up & down I have replaced the sensor & clocks which were used but still have the same problem Can anybody help me with this problem or can they advise me on a after market system as i have seen one or two where i would have to drill ahole in the brake disk for a magnet to be fitted is this safe? sorry to go a bit but i am getting stuck on this Many Thanks for any help ( i need it ! )

You don't have to take the feed from the front wheel, you could take it from the rear and mount the magnet on the sprocket/cushdrive for aftermarket ones.
