Auto Cam Chain Tensioner Spring Part no. 92081-146

#1 PostAuthor: njwmct » Sun Apr 28, 2013 5:01 pm

Anyone got an unused Cam Chain Tensioner Spring part no. 92081-146
If you have, then the free length measurement would be really useful as a guide as to whether or not mine is OK.

Cheers!

I'd say mine measures about 43mm - any idea what a new one would be?

i wouldn't use that type of tensioner in its original form as it was one of kawasaki's worst designs. just get rid of the ball race + cage . + change the tensioner rod + spring for the z1 type. or fit an after market billet manual type

Thanks for the advice - I'm gonna get a billet manual tensioner from Andy C on here.
