can some one please confirm if this is the correct order of assembly for the rear cam chain guide on my elr as I didnt get a proper look at it as it nearly fell out when I removed the barrels

correct. but surely you are not going to re use that guide?

if it doesnt give me any more grief I may treat it to new guides
