Yes go for it, I put one on my A4 last year and it's been spot on, been on an optimate over winter without any problems.

Ok Coxy, thanks.. One more question.. In this the one you fitted, and is this the right code, ( mb10u ) as I have the tray for it to sit in? I used the battery, from the zed, in a little honey, I bought that was going, from a guy near me..
He had sold the house, and he never got round to using it, so I grabbed it.. Kawasaki zxr750 H1 (1989 F reg ) for sale, once I get a ticket for it..

Yeah same here, gel battery with optimate over winter; mint.

I'm thinking about buying a lithium-ion battery for my project build
next though, better to take them off the bike though during winter
and keep them in the warm if no heating in garage / shed cos lithium-ion
life expectancy loads worse if not in warm environment, but the beauty of 'em
is how tiny you can get 'em, so very space saving,
here's an example of one I've got me eye on

I have one and the smaller size is an advantage.

Mine was from Racing Batteries and I bought a newer Optimate that is for Gel Batteries just to be sure.

That's good space-saving there.. Give it a few more years, and bike battery's will be the size, of a pp9..
