Hello again, my Z resto moves forward but my main aim is to bring it back to being as fun to ride as it was 20 years ago.
The Marzocci shocks i have still work but could do with a little TLC and maybe a re build or at least a spray job but first a couple of questions.

what rear shocks would anyone recommend for a Z 1000 ST or Mk 2 ?

If Marzoccis come out tops then can anyone recommend someone to help with a rebuild or respray?
Whilst i am here i have a spare pair of leak seal forks in the back of the tardis, any ideas for resto help there ?
Cheers, V [ still trying to sort a half decent icon too]

Hi all, thanks for all that.
My shocks seem to be ok , they just look really tired and the paint is flaking so since I am rebuilding the rest of the bike it would seem a shame to leave them as is.
I will talk to Nick at Pro racing and see what he says, many thanks for the tips! :)

Vendetta,

It's not too difficult to remove the springs from the bodies & paint it all yourself with a couple of rattle cans.
I turned these;

I'd be more than happy to show you how to pull 'em apart if you want.

Outstanding Red leader !
I cannot seem to get a bleeding picture of mine on this yet, I will keep trying and then see if anyone can confirm what they are as they look very different to yours, this gives me great hope anyway so I will invest in some of the stickers being talked about!
