if you want ones that don't vibrate like most aftermarket ones but don't want to buy originals have a look at yuniparts on ebay.
got a set on my Z1 and they're great.

I was about to suggest you only buy genuine Kawasaki which are great but expensive! After reading Chisu post bbelow.... I'll have a look at "Yuniparts" on ebay.

These
Those ones aren't rubber mounted.

those are like the zed power ones.

These look more like it if you look carefully you can see the difference in the mirrors, these seem to be rubber mounted at least in the picture, but they don't have the textured black finish on the back.

Thanks I've found them... I have ordered a pair.
Hope the delivery is worldwide for that postage.
Will let you know if they are better than genuine.

oops - just checked - looks like they don't do them any more. ...
There were Vulcan mirrors and were £27 a pair.
they were/are rubber mounted.

Guys the Yunipart mirrors are now sadly not a patch on the earlier Vulcan type suggest you look around as I now have two lovely long handled compacts for applying my moisturiser

Those KX ones look quite like the Vulcan ones and they have long stems too. Jon the mirror on the ones in that link are just glued into the black plastic. I had a pair like that they were useless above fifty, I bought Vulcan ones - maybe a year or more ago from Yuniparts - and swapped the stems over as the Vulcan ones were short. They're satin black as well, not textured, but only an anorak would notice. If you had OE ones that had fallen apart the Vulcan insides would have gone straight in the original plastic case perfect fit...
The Vulcan ones and the original Zed ones are a mirror rubber mounted on a metal disc which sits inside the plastic if you look at them in the flesh it's quite easy to see.In the picture you can see t he metal ring round the mirror. Those KX ones look like they're proper but without actually seeing them it's slightly hard to be sure. I could photograph them side by side if you want I still have the ZPower ones on a shelf somewhere...

Look's as if I may have purchased some dummies! I'll wait and see.
I used to always be able to pick a good mirror by observation of the mirror!
Without even trying the mirror on the bike, I claim a good mirror, in that you cannot see the edge of the glass.

Chaps, I assume the mirrors on my A4 are pattern parts as they vibrate like feck at anything above tickover
I know NOS mirrors cost silly money, but can anyone confirm if they do actually give relatively vibe free vision ??
Decided I probably need some mirrors that actually work: was followed for about 5 miles this morning (A46 Lincoln) by a large grey blob, which turned out to be Plod

in an unmarked BMW 5 Series Estate: thankfully as it was freezing I was just a bimbling along, so not much above any posted speed limit.
