screw???

Hi,
I have one bolt which I don't remember where shall be fitted.
It is 8 mm dia 44 mm long.
head seems to be chrome plated.
Any help?
(HOPEFULLY THIS WEEKEND I WILL TRY TO SWITCH ONE THE BABY. FIRGERS CROSSED)

What bike is it off? There is nothing of this size in the z1 parts list. Nearest is 3 0f M8x40. 1 for the stator and 2 to clamp the rear wheel spindle in the swinging arm.

What about the two chrome headed bolts that clamp the fork stanchions in the bottom yoke ?

Item 16 in the manual is M12 x 36
