Keith, not the best pic, but I fitted some Harris rearsets, using a very simple triangular ally plate.
The plate bolts to the existing footests mounts, the top rearset mount, bolts through the plate to the frame, then the lower bolts to your new ally plate.... Simples. :P

Hi Keith... how are you getting on with your plan? I'm done with trying to fit these bleedin' Tarozzis, so I'm looking for an alternative just like you. I liked Ginger Bear's Harris and adaptor plate set up as it does away with that monstrosity of a rear m/cylinder and all the levers, arms and springs.

Rear Sets for ST

Hello again, I too am looking to make a comfortable ride by fitting rear sets and was looking for Tarrozis but the previous posts seem to say they are a bugger to fit (?).
Ginger Bears look fab but I am looking for something clean and simple and not too new and space age [Sorry GB, no offence meant] , is there anything else on the market, where should I be looking or should I just stick with Tarrozis, they cannot be that hard can they?

Cheers, V

Yep, Tarrozzi are the way to go - good pieces of kit. Had mine for a few years now, no probs.

On the German trip last year, I was pretty comfy - more so than some of the chaps on their standard Zeds  and I have a sh*te 2:4 seat too :!:
