What kind of gaskets ?
You need the loctite for copper but not on on the ordinary fibre/paper type where a bit of sealer front and back of the camchain tunnel and around the cam end plugs is all that should be needed.

On base gaskets i grease both sides (no sealer).
This helps the the gasket settle evenly when being tightened, makes for easier removal at a later date and helps prevent oil seepage and the wick effect by sealing the surface.
