I had to re-read that last bit Brent, thought for a moment you'd written HeeHee.
Nowt worse than a man saying "heehee".

Hee-haw Geoff? Is that range rover and mustard coloured trouser speak?

Nowt wrong with range rovers before anyone pipes up, they optimise the image of the gentry. Snaffle snaffle.

well what a two day trip it was, first ide like to say ,a big thanks to stu for the tyre, nice to have a couple of scoops of lager with you, still dint get any biscuits, :D well there not the same dipped in beer, the hotel was feckin awesome,£29 per night on suite bath room, bloody comfy beds.recomended,
the motor i got set off ok,then things started to come to light, first off the gearbox developed a problem, jumping out of gear in high setting, they dont have two wheel drive in low gear, but this one seems to have developed it itself, had to drive all the way home in low box, think its sellectors are worn, :?: the chap i got it off was really ok,he give me two hundred quid back,it paid for the fuel, had to hit every station on the rd back, about ten to fifteen mpg.we did about four hundred miles in twelve hours,i think i made thousands of new mates,as everyone was pipping at us.maybe going 30/40mph down motorway had sumat to do with it,neil,a big sorry to you mate for not picking up your engine, the address you give me was in edinburough about two hundred miles i couldnt afford the petrol to go there, sorry.hope you understand.

got near dumfries and the alternater bolt fell off,had to repair that, set off again and about a mile down the rd,the fan belt snapped, one hour and twenty quid later back on the rd.set off at seven am,got home about seven thirty last night,my son said if i ask him to come on another trip,he will hit me with a shovel. all in all it was an experience to remember.
the train journey was not much better, two hundred quid fare, dint seem fair,as one train had only standing room, not nice standing for two hours on a train you paid for a seat.got lucky on the third train,a stag do in our coach, feckin party train.was a bit like the trading places film were there on a party train. believe me when i say this though,im only buying motors locally now, feck trapesing about the country.
