I know this subject has been raised before but after searching i am buggered if i can find it
I am sure the post said the nut should be on the brake side. This is also confirmed looking through the Dave Marsdens book. However, looking at the kawasaki parts pages and Haynes comic the nut is on the sproket side.
What is the correct end and does it make any difference?
Cheers,
Andrew

Nut goes on the brake hub side as it left the factory.

If the nuts on the sprocket side the end of the spindle catches on the standard silencers.
