o.k,so i know it"s not a zed,but i"m sure theres a few triple owners/lovers amongst you.

i"m currently ressurecting my old h2b,owned for nearly 30yrs,been in bits & abandoned for 27yrs after g/box broke.
looking for any recommendations for a good painter,to get her to as close to original as poss in candytone green/lime.

Si at Flying Tiger painted my Z900 (although not in original colours) and he did a superb job. I've had lots of bikes painted over the years and his finish is the best I have ever seen. I chose an original style and he got the lines exactly right, both location and sharpness. There are some photos on my blog which show the paint off well.

I would guess that the problem is going to be finding a modern paint colour that is a good match for the original Kawasaki colour. I used House of Kolor lime gold candy which is a really nice lime green but probably not a great match for a 1970s lime green.

The Triples Club top painter is a guy called Phil Weaver, very good, accurate and reasonably priced as well.

got the old girl fired-up today.filled the carbs with fuel,7 kicks & away she went!sounding good & filled me garage with smoke.........happy days!
