z1000 a2 tank

#1 PostAuthor: ADRIAN H » Fri Mar 08, 2013 2:44 pm

Please can you let me know what you think the tank and fuel tap are worth.
The fuel cap has recently been rechromed and rebuilt with new gaskets. Tank has been stored with oil in the tank.

I have offered to sell the tank for £100 + postage. Pingel tap £40 + postage. (tap has never been used on a running bike).

Thanks in advance. Adrian.

I read

I have offered the tank for £100 + postage. Pingel tap £40 + postage. (tap has never been used on a running bike).

I interpreted "offered" as offering for sale to the forum Rather than
" I have been offered"

I'll go back to sleep its been a long day, and I only really needed the pingle anyway!

The items above are for sale.

I had offered to sell them at the prices above. But the chap wants to knock the price down. I think the price I have asked is more than reasonable, and I am reluctant to lower the price.
I put the thread on here to try and gauge whether the price I am asking is reasonable.

Apologies for my poor description and any confusion caused.

cheers Adrian

In some people's view that would be described as cheap.
