#1 PostAuthor: maak » Wed Mar 06, 2013 8:50 am

modify the rear?
Don't really like how the rear end looks.Light, mudguard, seat etc.Want to put a smaller, much smaller tail light and a different mudguard.Want to change the seat as well for something smaller but not single seat.Which is the easiest way to do it?Want re-paint it to green as this red is :down :down
If you could help...would be much appreciated :hur2

Whatever you do. DON'T cut that mudguard. if it's the same as the Z1000J it's worth a fair bit of dosh!

I don't think Hobbo's tail tidy's will fit your bike, but it's a fairly easy mod to move your taillight forward so it fits underneath the tailpiece.

Different rear mudguard Steve,it's U.S. spec and shorter.
The reflectors are probably in the rear light lens.

I'd just modify/replace the rear light so it sits flush with the tail, reprofile the seat so its less bulky, and get the bike painted like the green J at the top of the web page. Its like a baby J, don't cut it up dude! The squared style of your bike wouldn't suit the rounded W800/wrenchmonkee look. But its your bike...

You're absolutely right but have to change the front mudguard as well as not straight,so should be all right.
