CSR 1000 tank info again

Hi Guys, OK I took off the tank yesterday and it's got a hole in it so had it patched, all ok. I looked underneath it and there's a fitting on it which looks like a fuel gauge. I've looked at the two CSRs on ebay at the moment and cannot see any fuel gauge on the handlebar area. So my question is, Is this the correct tank for my bike ? or is it off something else. I'm not very up on kawasaki Z models but I have seen gauges on some other models but can't remember which. I thought it was the correct tank as it has the flat square petrol cap. Any ideas chaps ? thanks, $tevie.
