Nice bike: the paint is excellent! I'd get a quote from Footman James - especially if you are (or would become) a member of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. I think they are happy with some performance mods. I pay about £150 to insure 4 bikes fully comp, agreed value, unlimited mileage with business use - and that includes the cost of adding a Z1 part way through the year.

A lot of the triples club lads are receiving expensive quotes from CN and are moving to Peter James with big savings for the exact same cover

Why would you want to join the VJMC? Our club gets the same discount fron FJ as the VJMC and we're aout a third of the price....?

Chris - that's news to me! I joined them long before I joined the Z1OC. They still have a decent magazine and they're hardly expensive.

that looks fantastic and exactly how I'm trying to get my thou to look. Even the wheels I have bought look the same.

+1....i've used FJ since joining the Z1OC, under £150 fully comp for three bikes with both my heavily modified zeds on agreed value

Andy - looks very nice indeed !
I moved from FJ to Peter James: I've a lightly modded A4 (Wiseco big bore - AP Brakes - Big carbs - upgraded Shocks etc) - was no problem - but they did up my policy by £25 for the "improvements". I also found it easier getting Agreed Valuations for my bikes with PJ.
Cheers
