I have been collecting parts to enable me to make a set of spoked wheels. I have now got all the parts. I thought that I would check all the parts before I got them polished but the sprocket carrier did not fit correctly into the hub. I bought the hub as one from a 750 Triple as they are supposed to be the same. Today to try and solve the problem I took the rear mag wheel of my bike to compare what I had.
Firstly the mag wheel I have has the retaining hole for the cush rubber off centre but the spoked hub is on centre ?





The sprocket carrier that I had bought was supposed to be for a z900 but it does not fit correctly compared to the one I have removed from my mag wheel.

So the big question is does anyone have a sprocket carrier they would like to sell so that I can still use my bike whilst I have the polishing done.

from your photo i would say the sprocket carrier on the left is the correct part for a z1/900 h2

the hub you have is not the correct one it looks like a h1 500 triple they have the locating hole in the centre where as the z1 has it at an offset position. bellow is a picture of the h1 cush drive drive showing the locating nipple in the centre
