Anyone used one of these. At £110 its probably cheaper than re chroming my old one.

You can get away with these because they are largely hidden by the reg. plate and tail piece.
The repro front ones are not recommended. Look a bit flimsy & fake compared to the factory item.

Ive got one on the back of my A4: most of its hidden so you dont see much of it. To be fair, its 3yrs old and still looks as in "as new" condition, so the quality must be OK.
Cheers

Phil, I was thinking of maybe "going green" at some stage - if I ever do I'll have a chat with you some time at Barneys Cafe.
Cheers Tim

Twozeds - your right, she's an A4, but a long way from standard: 28mm Z1R carbs - Wiseco big bore (got to fit an oil cooler) - A2 fork bottoms, Hagons, AP's etc etc.

(Jon apologies for the thread hijack)

Front fender has a thick section added in the middle to act as a fork brace.
If the repro one is lighter the bracing will be less effective.
On a bike with a reputation for frame flexibility I would be wary of a lighter front guard.
