I need to investigate my Z1B starter clutch and therefor require a bolt to remove the rotor. I am aware the steering stem and rear spindle bolts fit but these are both chromed and so I don't want to damage them. I believe the bolt is m16 but I dont know the pitch can anyone give me the correct pitch and any tips for the removal of the rotor.
Cheers
Alan

Try using the Kawasaki bolts but put a piece of wood over the end before you hit it.
P.S. the Std bolts are tapered so you don't F'k the thread.

if you use the stem bolt put a suitably sized ball bearing against the shaft end first and forget about whacking it lock everything up and use a big lever on the socket

Yes ! don't whack the extractor bolt, it can weaken the rotors magnetism.
