Engine Mounting Plate Misalignment

Put the engine from from LTD z1000 into a z1000 shaft frame and all the mounting bolts line up except the triangular plate. It passes through the fixed bracket on the left hand down tube, but as in the pics, not the right down tube.
The down tube is not bent as I put a straight edge along it.
All of the engine mounting bolts and plates are from the LTD
Any thoughts?
Make a new bracket?

A being top B engine C lower .

The bracket on an ST is only assigned to ST's and is different to a LTD one..
What if you use a shaft plate?

I would line up the front first and then see where was out

As Mark said...it might be the other mounts that are wrong.

Have you tightened up all the other bolts?
if so..loosen them all off so the engine can be jiggled.
They weren't made to very good tolerences in those days and 30 years of a flexi frame...( I know I've held onto the bars like a rag doll on more than one occasion) may well have taken it's toll.

Been out tonight and tried that Mark, can't get the engine forward enough for the bolt to pass through the plate as the mounting underneath the clutch cover fouls the engine casing.
The bottom rear mounting and the two side mountings align perfectly and are a piece of cake to bolt up.

Measured it and its 56mm centres on the bolts on the down tube and 60mm centres down tube bolts to engine bolt ie A to B.

None were tightened but could still not get engine forward because of the clutch casing/ mounting plate.

I've a bracket 58mm downtube centres and 62mm downtube to engine centre .
