Word of caution on exhausts

#1 PostAuthor: octanejunkie » Thu Dec 06, 2012 4:21 pm

If you are considering buying a new exhaust, don't make the mistake i just made.
I bought a V+H "pro pipe" for my Z1000.
Turns out this won't fit a stock bike. Headers come out at the side of the bike and theres no way of fitting the end can. It fouls all the controls and foot peg, plus theres nowhere to bolt it up.
My fault for buying the cheaper one i suppose. Still at least the seller will accept it back. Though i will have to pay an extra 85 quid for the "proper" one.
