I Guys,
Need some advice,I have just purchased 2 new repro tank emblems for my Z1000, and they are supplied in flat style ,My concern is which is the best way to attach them 1, Do i screw one end in first and try and mould the emblem to the tank(and hope the screw holds) ? OR would i better off trying to bend the emblem first before fitting
I woud be very grateful for any help or tips

I did mine by hand over me knee VERY gently.

If you get them just slightly more than required & then screw one end followed by the other, this should leave a nice even contour.

I would agree.
If you do not pre-form them to the shape of the tank you are asking too much of the tiny screws to hold them in place properly.

Probably need to put some cloth or summat over the tank whilst you are test fitting to see if the bent contour is right.

I would guess warming the badge a bit first might help in these colder months??

I got some genuine kawa tank badges for my 650 and they came ready formed, handed for left and right sides.
