Maybe they are off the two strokers, coz the metal pipe lines are to, they're not Z1??

Measure the internal MC bore dimensions. Should be 5/8 inch or 16mm? You could get the MC bored out and fitted with new piston/seals. They will fit but as the metal pipes appear quite short the previous owner may have reversed the caliper mountings to the rear of the fork legs, which was a popular modification,,,,,as it was supposed to improve braking performance...dont know if it did or what the theory was.....unsprung weight? anti-dive, inertia? Doesnt look out of place and considered to be one of the "sensible modifications" to a stock Z1.

Double disc conversion kit from Z Power ?700 odd quid.......not cheap and worth more than a set of.......... S2 indicators???!!!!.........

Mal, Those brackets are certainly not the Z1 series brackets, although that splitter block is one of that era. The brackets should look like this..

As Davy D says they could be off the H1 H2.

With regards to the master cylinder, I have heard of some 5/8 " not being so designated with a stamping on the bottom in which case you will have to measure them as Rick'CRR suggests. Not easy to visually check as I think they use the same circlip at the piston entry side.

have you got your address so i can post them?

you boys ARE observant, the metal brake pipes are 2+ inchs shorter than the ones on my own z1a and rickman crr i think is correct in saying they have been used in reverse on the bike?
SO, if i get the correct metal brake pipes off z power i can use them?
incidently i got all this in a job lot and it owes me nowt!!!!
after abit of wheeling and dealing they ended up free!

On some of the earlier master cylinders 5/8th was stamped on to the top beside the bolt holding the lever in place on the later one's it was embossed on the bottom. So all you need are the right and left pipes and brackets + the six hole disc....
