Has anyone converted their clutch to be hydraulic instead of cable? I know it can be done as I saw a Z1B with this done several years ago, is there a kit or anything or is it just a matter of getting all the bits and doing it.
it would make it easier to ride in heavy traffice etc and less stress on the wrist
Regards
Bob

I fitted a Falk slave cylinder & ZX7R master cylinder to my Z1000.
In my opinion it's well worth doing if you want a smoother/lighter action.

As Mark says above with a ZRX master cylinder. This is what I did and also changed the brake master cylinder as these both have the bosses for the mirrors. As GB says a good conversion.

I fancied the idea of one of these for the shafter, but looking at the clutch actuator, it's pretty much a no, no.

I like the idea of the engineering; I reckon I could probably make one, but the clutch actuator is built into the front bevel box and I really can't be arsed to take that off again in the off chance that I could build something in.

I once fitted an air assisted clutch booster from a DAF 2800 onto my Yamaha XS250.
It worked well.
