z1b engine numbers

Just been offered a z1b engine the engine number pad is 80mm long and the number reads Z1E 063588 should the 0 be there? cheers.

Hi looking at Z powers numbers ThIS NUMBER WOULD be in the middle of Z1B numbers which started about 45,000 odd and finished 85,000 odd and yes all start with an 0

A1John, agree with others.
Another good check would be to look at the "eights" in this number. You will notice they are unusual ... They look slightly slopped as in Italic printing.
