Piston ring compressor tool

Will the kawasaki piston ring compressor tool for z650 part no. 57001-531 work on a Z1/Z900 engine or are the piston centres different?
Could it be adapted to fit? (theres one on ebay I would bid on if I could use it on a Z1)

no pal, different centres, i tried one on my z1 and there no were near :(
