z900 rear mudgyards

Is any one able to confirm if there are any differences between the various z900 models rear us spec rear guard
ialso is there any difference between the z900 a4 long uk guard and the one fitted to the z1000 a1?

Keith, I believe all long rear guards from the Z1 to the Z1000A1 are interchangeable. There are only slight changes in the shape, not apparent unless an expert with them side by side. Also some might have small hole bottom rear for mounting a reflector, mandatory for some countries.
My understanding is that the long guard for the Z900A4 and the Z1000A1 are identical. Note: I have not checked the parts numbers which is always a good check.

Keith, there are differences, as garn says. The earlier guards have less of a valance. I have a UK A4, i can e-mail you a pic of the guard if you wish.
I can dig out my copy of Dave Marsdens book as well if that is of any help?
