Can anyone email me pics of a z650 tank along side a z900/1000 tank?
Are they obviously different in appearance and dimension?

Cheers

O yes by lots, the 900 and 1000 are longer, the 650 is shorter

Rear fittings are different too.
Z900 is held on at rear by rubber strap over hook at rear of tank.
Z650 B models have a male lug under rear of tank which pushes into female grommet on frame top tube - held on by gravity and seat unit.

I have a st frame now for my "fiddling about with bike", and my Z1b tank won't fit it as the rear of the tank where it narrows either side hits the frame.

Thanks for info chaps, Z650 tank is a no go.

I'd delete this post if I knew how as I have asked a different question regarding tanks
