Hi, would anyone happen to know where I can get a genuine Z1R chain and sprocket set from?

I called ZPower but they tried to sell me an after market set and the sprockets are metal silver and not black/grey.

I want to keep it as original as possible.

they are rare + would be very expensive i would just paint the sprocket in satin black

The one on my bike is more dark grey than black though. Perhaps it's faded?

To me it makes a big difference to the bike. It's still got the original one on the bike which is only slightly worn but the chain is scrap as it has a few really tight spots.

Mikey should be able to black zinc plate it for you.

If your not going to make it your "daily ride" Why not just replace the chain:?: the bike will be smoother and it will give you time to ride it, get used to it and look for an alternatve. It will save you some money and achieve your aim ....originality, you can put new chain on old sprockets when its the chain thats fooked and the sprockets are ok Jeez some people have even been known to turn the feckers round and refit them And finally just to prove a point at stafford recently I overheard the chain guy sayin to somebody as he handed his gearbox sprocket back to him " yeah its not badly worn turn it over and put it back you will get another 10 thou out of it "
