Folks, thinking of putting the brakes on my modded A4 back to standard - can anyone confirm when Kawasaki changed the front brake caliper design from that fitted to the Z900 A4. I believe it was the same unit on the Z1000 A1 & A2, but not sure if it was changed when the Z1R or MK II came in ??

It will help a lot, when I come to try and find some replacements (I guess they are as rare as Rocking Horse droppings and Hens Teeth)

900A4 are the same as 1000A1.

A2 are different as they were fitted behind the fork leg. They will still fit but the bleed nipple ends up in the wrong place.

And calipers are not that rare. I have a spare set.
