Gasket advice

I'm hopefully getting round to fitting the cylinders and cylinder head this weekend and could do with some advice on the gaskets/O rings.
Cylinders to crankcase gasket, clymer manual suggests some gasket compound around the centre studs but does not say if this is crankcase or cylinders side or both, any suggestions as to what's best?
Cylinder head to cylinders, I've been supplied a one piece gasket with the Wiseco kit, should I use this instead of the genuine two piece and separate centre oil seal?
Cylinder O rings, the manual picture is pretty grainy but appears to describe the four red O rings being installed onto the base of the liners, and the gasket being installed on the crankcase before lowering the cylinders down the studs, is this correct?
