Suitable mudguard for ZX9R forks

Does anyone know of an aftermarket mudguard that will fit between the forks on a ZX9R?. I am using ZX9R yokes so the spacing is the same.
I do not want a modern looking guard as in having the aero spoiler look wrapping around the forks, just a plain old mudguard in fibreglass if possible. I have had a forkbrace made, its just getting finished and has approx 1/2 inch between tyre top and bottom of brace.
I seem to remember a guard that bolted to the underside of forkbraces.

thanks for that suggestion, that is more like the style, tho it does stick out a bit more on one side, but will see if measures up OK, Crofty

Crofty, are these USD or RWU forks? I fitted an XJR 400 front muddy to my ZX9R usd forks. It is a tight fit!

Like the look of those GB, yes mine are rwu zx9R c model f/forks. Should have them back as soon as fork brace is made and will be able to measure and ph a few suppliers/wreckers

Dont know if this is of any use but ive just found these dimensions from the XJ900 Diversion i'd 'noted' when i'd been on a search in a breakers for mine.
Between forks - 150mm
4off 6mm fork brace mounts measure - front to back 50mm spacing
widthways 115mm spacing.
Length of gaurd 600mm - with approx 260mm forward of brace.
180mm wide in front of forks, 145mm aft of forks
So a slight flare at forks.
Also - Not flat on the brace area, so would require spacers to mount.
I used a RF900 but there the wrap round type - not what your after
As a footnote the Diversion is 17" wheel.
All measurements approx by the way
Hope that made some sense? old notes and a puddled mind

hiya jim,
seem to remember early gsxr 750 ones bolt to the underside of the fork brace. something like this could be trimmed back a little

Thats the same as the RF900 i used - so the dimensions between fork width should be similar to the Yam XJ i quoted above - 150mm approx.

used a cut down early gpz750 front muddy on mine jim, if you decied to steer away from a flat topped muddy.
ignore the wheel being out of place because it has no hubs still....i repositioned the mounting holes and the section above the front hole could be cut back further but means cutting down the strenthening steel...

I like that j.b., just the right style and its kawasaki. Presuming width is pretty much spot on judging by photos and I know you have same front fork set up. I might give GPRD here in York a call as he has a early GPZ750 project happening and I could borrow his muddie for a trial fit.
