Fitting seat strap

#1 PostAuthor: bigalhudson » Thu Sep 13, 2012 12:05 pm

Just waiting for a seat strap to arrive for my z1000A1 as it never had one. Looking at the seat pan I expected to find some holes in the side to connect/bolt/rivet through but can't see any signs that it's ever had one fitted. How are the seat straps originally fitted?
Cheers Al

The welded nuts are not present on US spec seat bases.

Good luck :??

Yep its an american import. Presume they didnt have them fitted as standard then. Think its worth doing to balance the look of the seat. I'l get me drill out once the straps arrived.

Thanks
Al
