TROUBLE KEEPING IT UP.

#1 PostAuthor: SMR610 » Tue Jul 17, 2007 8:29 pm

Hi to one and all,
Can someone tell me apart from the screws under the seat what else
holds the tail piece on a 1981 GPZ1100? cos whatever it is mine must have fallen off, halfway home tonight the tail piece started smacking itself on the light.
Now it`s just resting on the light and there`s definitely no visible means of rectifying this.

Cheers

Allan

There's a rubber block that mounts on a prong thing as I recall - the tailpiece pushes onto it from the back and the two screws hold it in place - normally. I got one from zPower a couple of years ago so they may still be available new.
