Z1000 Gasket Set ?

Does anyone have a list of what O'Rings are included with the Z power gasket sets ?

If not, does anyone know of any particular O'Rings that are not included in the set ?

The reason I'm asking is that while I was stripping the engine down, I may have binned some O'rings on the assumption that they would all be included in the gasket set

When I spoke to Zpower they couldn't tell me what was included and what wasn't.

Cheers

Zedrob, I'm pretty sure the gasket set (like most) does not include ...
Two (same size) o-rings for pressure sensor alloy casting .. very important****
Oil filler bolt o-ring
Sump plug & filter cover bolt.
Important two small shaped o-rings, one between cases & another on oil pump.
Not sure on two tacho seals (I think the o-ring but not the seal?).
Not sure about both inner large o-ring for sump and the large o-ring for filter cover.

try to get one of these from Z Power as this will show all the "o" rings that you require. At least then you can see what comes with the gasket set and what doesn't.

Cheers Mark,

I didn't know this existed, have just ordered from Zpower.

I had downloaded and printed the breakdowns from the Kawasaki website, but to be honest the diagrams weren't that clear and I was struggling to make out the detail, so this book is just what I need.

All the best.

Cheers Steve,

Being a true Scot, I like free things, now saved in my favs

Another small result today was getting Dave Marsden's book on Amazon, I hadn't realised it was reprinted, jeez, I nearly paid a small fortune for a second hand one on ebay last year :)

Regs,
