Can anyone tell me the correct finish for the chain adjuster blocks in the end of the swingarm ? I've looked in Mr Marsdens book but the pic of them isn't great but they look to be painted. I always thought they were zinced.
Anybody know the correct finish ?
Thanks in advance.

Pasc I found 2 of them today which came off a Z1B and they they appear to have been painted satin black which is now peeling.
New ones from Z-Power are bright zinc.

Good question, when you buy them as a genuine spare they look as so they are zinc plated. However, when looking at an original frame they are always painted black (same as frame) along with, the head of the 8mm retaining bolts.
Note, that this is also the case with the small nuts at the inside of the foot peg studs.
